The Fortisan Group LLC is a corporate psychology and human resource consulting business.  Jim Dugan, Ph.D. is the principal consultant with the Fortisan Group. He works with a seasoned group of psychologists, human resource professionals, physicians and attorneys who have extensive and wide-ranging expertise. They have broad-based consulting experiences with Fortune 100 companies, and successful small business operations.

Jim received his doctorate from Northwestern University, and is a licensed psychologist in Missouri and Kansas. He is a member of Division of Consulting Psychologists, and American Psychological Association.

Jim has consulted with profit and nonprofit groups nationally, presented training programs, and lectured on emotional intelligence at major universities and organizations, and written more than a dozen articles for popular press on emotional intelligence.

He is also the principal investigator on two research studies in emotional intelligence, adjunct assistant professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science, School of Medicine, University of Kansas Medical Center, and adjunct faculty in the graduate programs at the University of Missouri at Kansas City, Avila, and Ottawa Universities.
